The long white portion is the shadow of the cup. The color has been rotated/flipped to create this effect.

The lens flare and the reflections are natural, while the texture has been added digitally.
I used manual focus on a cup of oil to shoot the reflection of window blinds. the lens flare was added digitally in post processing.
