How to Obtain H1 B Visa and how much quota is allocated for H1 Visa
For obtaining H1 B Visa. The following process can be helpful:
Firstly Find an employer who can offer you a job in USA and hence your H1 B petition is then filed by your employer with the government authorities(like dept of Labour and USCIS). Once the petition is approved then you are allowed to work and live in USA.
Note: Not all the companies file H1 for their employees.
Total Quota for H1 visa
* Currently H1B Total Quota is 65,000 for all the qualified people worldwide.
Note: New Quota start and will be available from April every year.
* There is an additional 20,000 quota for qualified people who have done their Master’s degree from USA. This quota is independent and additional to general 65,000 quota.
