Once PERM is filed electronically, your employer (who ever’s email on the application) will receive an email from DOL Generally with following four questions.
1. Are you, or do you work for, the employer referenced above?
2. Are you aware that an Application for Permanent Employment Certification was filed on your behalf?
3. Do you have an opening for the mentioned job title at the address?
4. Are you sponsoring applicant name for this position?
Once the questions have been answered, which is normally “YES”, they will receive another email from the US DOL confirming that the PERM has been submitted.
This confirmation normally also copied to the attorney office.
