Press Release – 7 Days Script Writing Workshop for Innovative Writers At IFA

With the aim of identifying unique storytelling structure, Indigenous Film Archive (IFA) is organizing 7 days long Workshop on Screenplay (Script Writing) for Innovative Nepali writers and filmmakers from 4th July 2011 (Monday) – 10th July 2011(Sunday). In the workshop, under the guidance of experts and mentors, participants will learn to translate the story from their perspective into script form.
If you have a story to tell and dream your story/script to be turned into a film, you should definitely join this workshop.
The main attraction of this workshop is that 10 best scripts will go into the film production for Nepal International Indigenous Film Festival (NIIFF) 2012.

नेपालमा पहिलो पटक टोए कार रेस कम्पिटिसन
विश्व बदलिदै गएको छ, आज विश्वका बिभिन्न देशहरुमा बिभिन्न खालका खेलहरुको बिकासक्रम बढिनैरहेको छ । तर आजसम्म पनि नेपालले खेलकुदमा त्यस्तो राम्रो उपलब्धी हाँसिल गरेको छैन । नेपालमा विश्वभर खेलिने बिभिन्न खालका खेलहरुको बिकास पनि भएको देखिदैन र Car Race एउटा आफैँमा रोमान्चक खेल हो। तर नेपालमा यसखेलका लागि आवश्यक पुर्वाधरहरुको बिकास भएको छैन । त्यसैले हामी यस्ता नयाँ र रोमाञ्चक खेलमा पछाडि परिरहेका छौँ ।
त्यस्तै आजको बदलिदो समय अनुरुप बालबलिकाहरुमा प्रतिस्पर्धि सोचको विकास आवश्यक देखिन्छ । नेपाली बलबालिकाहरुमा यस्तै सोचको विकासका लागि द टोए स्टोरको आयोजनामा आश्विन २३ गते शनिवार नेपालमानै पहिलो पटक प्रथम टोए कार रेश कम्पिटिसन २०१० को आयोजना गरेको छ ।
नेपालमानै पहिलोपटक आयोजना हुन लागेको यो खेलमा ३ वर्षदेखि ८ वर्षसम्मका ६० जना बालबालिकाहरुले सहभागिता जनाउनेछन र यो खेल स्वयम्भू स्थित गोकार्टमा हुनेछ । यस प्रतियोगिताको संयोजन एड गुरु प्रा. लि. ले गरेको छ । राष्ट्रिय तथा अन्तराष्ट्रिय स्तरमा ख्याती प्राप्त यस खेलले बालबालिकाहरुको बौद्धिक क्षमता र नयाँ खेलको विकाश हुने जानकारी कार्यक्रमका आयोजक द टोए स्टोरका प्रबन्ध निर्दैशक प्रकाश श्रेष्ठले बताउनुभयो ।
