I am so happy that spice girls are re-uniting ( minus Victoria ).

I wonder who doesn’t like Ellen Degeneres. She is one female whom I admire the most for her outstanding  talent. Shes gone through tough times and I wonder how string a person can be to overcome every obstacle and bounce back again to life again.

Sunday , August 23 2009 Miss Universe Peagent was organised at Atlantis , Paradise Island Resort in Bahamas.
Miss Venezuela Stefania Fernandez was crowned as Miss Universe 2009. Stefania Fernandez, 18-year-old, became the 58th winner of the ” Miss Universe ” title.

It is the second consecutive year that Venezuela grabbed this title.And in total Venezuela have grabbed this title about 5 times.

Miss Dominican Republic, Ada Aimee de la Cruz, was the runner up.

Miss China, Wang Jingyao, was named Miss Congeniality.Miss Thailand, Chutima Durongdej, won Miss Photogenic.

The Finalists were :
1. Miss Dominican Republic – Ada Aimee de la Cruz
2. Miss Australia -  Rachael Finch
3. Miss Puerto Rico – Mayra Matos Perez
4. Miss Venezuela – Stefania Fernandez

Well to be honest I really liked Miss Dominican Republic – Ada Aimee de la Cruz answer as she was asked that whether it is important for people to get tested and cautious for HIV ( AIDS ). And I really thought that she would won as she asnwered that it is important for everyone to test and be cautious and should take their life seriously. I really thought that Miss Venezuela’s question was out of
basket type as she was asked ” When a person is rich and famous how would she take fame” I think that was kind of strange but as per this contest rules you are suppose to answer these wierd questions.
I think she answered okay ( that’s how she won the title ).

One more thing her gown was really very very bad and guess what she said that ” This gown resembles/ shows her personality “.
Out of the finalists I liked Miss Dominican Republic – Ada Aimee de la Cruz and Miss Kosovo – Gona Dragusha gowns as they looked quite classic and elegant.

The Only reason why I am keeping Heidi Pratt as the artist of the week is that, that she is gonna sing her solo ” Body Language ” at the ” Miss Universe ” contest to be held. Cmon guys its fine if some of you dont like her and comment about her song but atleast she still takes critism in positive way. I saw her tweets and it seems that the girl is practising really hard and well for her first ever live performance. All the best to her from my end..U’l surely rock..

John Clayton Mayer (born October 16, 1977) is an American musician. Originally from Connecticut, he attended Berklee College of Music before moving to Atlanta, Georgia, in 1997, where he refined his skills and gained a following.
Mayer began his career performing mainly acoustic rock, but gradually began a transition towards the blues genre in 2005 by collaborating with renowned blues artists such as B. B. King, Buddy Guy, and Eric Clapton, and by forming the John Mayer Trio. The blues influence can be heard on his album Continuum, released in September 2006.
