I am sure once in a while we all do regret why in the world bought this outfit ( or make up stuff ) and specially if someone recommends that and it turns out to be a disaster. Well something like that happened to me. I follow few fashion blogs and in one of the famous blogs ( dont wanna mention her name ) someone recommended the Revlon Matte Lipstick Nude Attitude shade.Though on the site it says Ultra-creamy saturated lip color that delivers beautiful, lightweight matte color without any dryness, caking or fading which is so not true.It cakes like anything and this color was like as if I put on my concealer on my lips.
But what dissapointed me was the fact that its not really creamy so it does take a bit of effort to get the lipstick to reach the entire lip and the grooves of the lip. And so I thought it could be because I have really dry lips so wiped it off, put on my carmex and tried it again. Yup, it definitely went on smoother this time BUT the color payoff wasn’t as fantastic as the previous application. It went on pretty sheer. I had to layer on several times to get the payoff I required. I tried it with another lip moisturizer and it gave the same effect.
Well, though I like the shade but I would very much prefer if it was a little more creamy in texture.
Oh, I do like the clear top of the packaging. It makes it easy for color selection especially when there isn’t testers for beauty products in the States. BUT the actual shade of the lipstick when applied isn’t accurate so the packaging totally defeats this purpose.
As for now, I probably will not re-purchase this shade and may be this shade would look good on you but on me it was a complete disaster ( or may be worse than that )
