Anne Hathaway, Christina Aguilera Among Those to Be Honored

Variety announced today the honorees for their first annual Varietys Power of Women Luncheon, in partnership with Lifetime Television and Lifetime Movie Network.

These "Lifetime Impact Honorees" have each made a significant contribution to their chosen individual charities.

Among the women who will be honored at the September 24 event (held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel), Christina Aguilera, for her work on behalf of World Hunger Relief, Christina Applegate (Right Action for Women), January Jones (Oceana) and Anne Hathaway (Service Nation).

Michelle Sobrino, Variety's associate publisher says, "We are thrilled to announce the inaugural Variety's Power of Women event, honoring an incredible group of women who are dedicated to utilizing their positions in the entertainment industry to further awareness and affect change for various causes."
